The electrical mains generate a background hum that is constantly changing and provides a unique time stamp signature (per electrical grid, essentially). This hum has been used to timestamp and geolocate “anonymous” videos.

HummingbirdClock provides a means of accessing this database of time signatures. They’ll check videos against the UK mains hum.
